Revenue Systems Architecture
I don't run campaigns on top of broken infrastructure - I build the infrastructure. That means connecting marketing activity, sales execution, and data into a single revenue engine.
THE BUILDER CMO
I'm a builder, not an inheritor.
In operations-heavy businesses, marketing rarely has the infrastructure it needs. Data is fragmented. Attribution is unclear. I work with service-based and logistics-heavy organizations between $10M-$100M where growth exists but the revenue system underneath it is underdeveloped. That's the gap I close.
CAPABILITIES
I don't run campaigns on top of broken infrastructure - I build the infrastructure. That means connecting marketing activity, sales execution, and data into a single revenue engine.
Generating demand is only half the problem. I build the systems that ensure demand is captured, tracked, and converted - whether it comes from paid, organic, or third-party sources.
I write SQL. I build reporting databases. I've created shadow analytics systems to get visibility where platforms wouldn't provide it. Data isn't a dashboard - it's the foundation of every decision.
I've built marketing tech stacks from scratch - selecting, integrating, and operationalizing CRM, automation, analytics, and web platforms with no inherited infrastructure to start from.
Attribution, lead handling, SDR function, email nurture - I rebuild the conversion layer from intake to close, aligning human process and automation to produce consistent, measurable results.
Marketing, IT, sales, and operations should speak the same language. I've led all four functions simultaneously - and I build the operating models that keep them aligned.

Jake is a problem-solver. When he sees a problem to solve, he will dig in and, using all the technology and resources he can find, will find solutions that work. And he will stick with a project until successful completion. For example, Jake created a real-time delivery routing optimization tool that saved his company significant routing costs, using an advanced technology stack, much of which was self-taught. I highly recommend Jake.
Jake has been a huge asset... He led the desperately needed relaunch/redesign of our chapter's website (amacolorado.org) - building the site map, page structure, content, and theme in record time to launch. We moved from a nearly dysfunctional site to a beautiful, fully integrated website. Jake has set the chapter up for success for many years to come. In addition to the relaunch of our site, he has been an instrumental advisor to our chapter's marketing operations, tech stack, and analytics decisions. It has been a pleasure to work with and learn from Jake over the last 2 years. Jake is someone that you can count on to make things happen!
Marketing-Minded! This is what I think of when considering Jake's work for the AMA of Colorado. Very few marketers are both analytical/technical and customer-centric/creative. This combination of skills is what makes Jake a go-to when tackling any marketing challenge. Jake focuses on how data can solve tough decisions and how those decisions play out with audiences. While good at being retrospective, Jake doesn't get hung up on the past. He quickly takes what he's learned and starts applying it to future situations. Another thing that you should know about working with Jake is that he is capable of mixing with a variety of stakeholders to get the job done. Jake communicates easily with others and holds a calm disposition even when work is stressful. A real asset to any team!
Jake has a knack for solving problems with a particularly effective blend of analytics, planning, and technology. He uses these talents across a wide variety of projects effectively and while simultaneously communicating their need and status to ownership. He is an exceptional addition to any project or organization.
